Yule Ball
Marginalia ~ Life on the Edges
4-6 December, 2026
Join Flintheath for our annual Yule Ball celebration at this historic site.
The Holly Monarch will be decided by a Marginalia-themed Arts and Sciences competition.
This event is a celebration of Arts and Sciences in all their forms! We invite all artisans to bring and present their creations on the theme of "Marginalia" in our Holly Monarch Competition. Submissions will be presented, consumed, and performed on the Saturday morning.
There will be displays and performances of the Arts to entertain, and an Artisans Garden for those wishing to teach, and those who wish to learn more.
At lunchtime, we will convene for our grand Feast, serving medieval cuisine, along with quaffing, and good cheer aplenty!
On Saturday evening, our dancers and bards will take charge of the Ball, which will continue until there's nobody left on their feet.
If you would like to book On-site Accommodation, see the details of the available accommodation here. Please note: beds in the Main House will allocated by a lottery system. The lottery will take place seven days after reservations have opened. For Off-Site Accommodation, we have a list of options here.
