Pets of Flintheath
Much as animals were a big part of medieval life, Flintheathens love their four-legged friends! Here are our beloved pets - some of them join us at events, some stay home and guard our castles, but we adore them all!
Loki of Flintheath
Loki is a Northern Inuit, bred by one of our most Northern Flintheathens. Loki will always be a little lap puppy, no matter how big he gets! He is a frequent visitor to dog-friendly events.
Loki is served by Nero Lupo, Bella Donna, James and Zeva of Flintheath.
Fili of Flintheath
Fili (right) is a dachshund who has a lot of personality in a very small body! You always know what Fili thinks about life. Fili is often seen at dog-friendly events.
Fili is served by Jahanara, Meliton and Apollo.
Annabeth of Flintheath
Annabeth is a "pouchon" (a bichon frisé - poodle) who is always delighted and excited when she visits dog-friendly events in the shire!
Annabeth is served by Apollo Drakos.
Fergus of Jura
Fergus is a highland pony who was regularly seen at equestrian events before his retirement from public life in 2025. Fergus now lives a quiet life, but he was a delightful diminuitive destrier of the shire.

Jessie of Trueberry Manor
Jessie is a beautiful black cat who likes to help out with A&S projects at home. Jessie doesn't visit events, but she's beloved member of the shire.
Jessie is served by Eularia Trewe and Alexandre d'Avigné.
Funky of Trueberry Manor
Funky is a tortoiseshell and white cat whose hobbies include midnight serenades and learning about cheese-making. Funky doesn't visit events, but tales of her antics do!

Rocco of Jura
Rocco is a border collie. Border collies aren't period, but Rocco is thrilled to be putting the "A" in "SCA"! Rocco loves visiting all his friends at events. Because everyone is Rocco's friend, event if they don't know it yet!

Furcifer Stormwiga
Furcifer is a clandestine cat who enjoys helping with weaving and historical research. I've heard he's a dab paw at referencing! He doesn't visit events because he prefers a private life, so we love him from a distance instead!

Simm of Flintheath
Simm is a border collie who takes his work supervising important illustrations very seriously indeed. We hope to see Simm at a Flintheath event soon!
Simm is served by Peregrine of Flintheath.
Beanie of the Northern Stronghold
Beanie is a Northern Inuit and a cousin of Loki - their dads are brothers! She loves people, especially children, and being social. You will see her at larger events such as Ormthing.

Artemis - Rare white Northern Inuit. She is the sister of Beanie. Loves cuddles on her terms.
Tesla - Mum to Loki and Aliy. Forever a "mama bear" and will protect them, and tell them off at the same time.
Aliy - Daughter of Tesla, sister of Loki. Loves carrots and to scream. Gives fantastic cuddles!
Selune - The Old Dame. Let everyone know when she is not getting things HER way.
