Yule Ball

Join us in Flintheath for the 10th

Yule Ball to be held at this historic site.

 

     The theme of the Ball this year is the streets,

alleys, and life of the city, including Flintheath’s

shire town of Utbech, whose citizens jealously

guard its civic privileges.

     The Holly Monarch will be decided by skill

at arms with the rapier, followed by some visits

to the less safe parts of town.
     The feast, under the charge of Baron Meliton, will celebrate street food across the lands and times of our period.
     We will be graced by the progress of the courts of Their Highnesses Insulae Draconis and Their Majesties Drachenwald. Here we will hear the response of Viscount Ranulf li Norreis to the offer of joining the Order of the Chivalry, having sat vigil the previous night.

     Kate the Potter will again be attendance with her wide range of wares. If you wish to order something specific, please send her an order at least six weeks beforehand, and she will bring it for collection.
     There will be a show and tell display of the works of our artisans and natural philosophers for a couple of hours, coinciding with the start of our ball, which will continue until no-one remains on their feet.
