St Bede’s Fair is named after the Venerable Bede, whose feast day is 25 May. St Bede is most famous for his work Historia ecclesiastica gentis Anglorum, the Ecclesiastical History of the English People, written in the early Eighth Century, and because of it he is often referred to as ‘The Father of English History.’

£35 per person camping (Fri-Mon) adult

£20 per person camping (Fri-Mon) concession

In accordance with our insurance provider and SCA CIC UK policy, membership is required for all attendees in either the SCA CIC UK* or an SCA affiliate** in order to be covered under our insurance. One year of SCA membership is only £15 individual / £29 family - SCA UK CIC [Membership Portal]
