Yule Ball 2021 – Friday 3-Sunday 5 Dec, 2021

A Winter Celebration

In the depths of winter when the nights are long and the time to celebrate Yule is upon us, the Shire of Flintheath will once again mark the festive season with a Yule Ball at Buckden Towers. We will dance the day and night away in the Great Tower and partake of many activities all around this historic place, including crowning a new Holly Monarch, decided this year by skill with bow and arrow.

Where? Buckden Towers, St Neots, CAMBS, PE19 5TA

When? from 5 pm Friday 3 through 11 am Sunday 5 December 2021

How? register here for overnight accommodations, including Bed & Breakfast and Dormitory Bunks. Day tripping is also available. All fees include travellers fare Friday evening and breakfast on Saturday and Sunday.

PLEASE NOTE:  the Bed and Breakfast accommodations are SOLD OUT and the waitlist is CLOSED.

In addition to the archery tourney to determine the Holly Monarch, there will be space for rattan and rapier fighting, along with lots of indoor activities. Feast will be held at midday to make time for Court and the Ball in the evening (at which a cold sideboard will be served). And of course, the traditional Yule Ball Gift Exchange will be observed.
